Job summary

Bluewave Technology Group is seeking a Business Development Director in the United States for a remote role. You will manage an annual quota, cultivate new enterprise opportunities, and engage executives to drive revenue growth.

The candidate will forecast accurately, maintain Salesforce records, and travel as needed to client meetings and events. The role requires strong IT advisory knowledge, relationship-building, and the ability to develop strategic plans with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven success in consultative selling.
• At least 2 years of experience selling to technology decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, and IT leaders.
• Strong understanding of UCaaS, CCaaS, PaaS, data center, and telecommunications solutions.
• Disciplined use of Salesforce for forecasting and sales activity tracking.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and cultivate new opportunities with mid-market and enterprise customers.
• Drive sales through executive-level engagement with key partners, including QBRs and CEO-level meetings.
• Develop and write program concepts, proposals, and reports following Bluewave’s brand guidelines.
• Understand customer challenges and engage internal experts to create value-added solutions.
• Develop strategies and business plans, leverage partners, and execute against metrics to drive revenue.
• Collaborate with Account Directors, Operations, Partners, and Marketing to create compelling marketing materials.
• Attend trade shows and industry events and travel as needed.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records for a high volume of activity.
• Travel to meet prospects, customers, and team members for events and meetings.
