Job summary

U.S. Financial Technology in the United States is seeking a seasoned Lead, Governance, Risk and Compliance to join our remote team. The role focuses on risk management, controls, program management and enterprise compliance initiatives across the organization.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen governance and drive process improvements. The position requires strong communication, a PM/ERM background, and 7–8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 7-8 years of related work experience in project management and/or risk management.
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead First Line Control Testing and oversee results for optimization and reporting.
• Lead training program for Compliance and ERM, coordinating content and reporting.
• Coordinate enterprise responses to GSE Vendor Assessments and audits, and handle SOC requests.
• Serve as Program Lead for the company’s GRC initiatives, including tool implementations and AI-related projects.
• Lead scenario analysis exercises focused on Financial Crimes risk with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and deliver projects using PMP methodologies, tracking timelines, risks and deliverables.
• Oversee special projects and growth initiatives within the department.
