Job summary

The Wistar Institute seeks a Senior Specialist, Research Services to provide non-financial pre- and post-award grants administration support to faculty and scientific staff. You will monitor grant deliverables, compile proposals, and ensure compliance with NIH and related policies.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and at least 5 years in grants administration, with experience in NIH portals and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required, preferably in a business-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in grants administration.
• Knowledge of NIH grant requirements and policy regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor pre- and post-award deliverable pipelines for selected PI portfolios.
• Compile and submit grant proposals and post-award reports with PIs.
• Stay current on federal grant deadlines, requirements, and regulations.
• Coordinate with finance, legal, development, HR, IT, and operations on grant-related matters.
• Serve as back-up Signing Official when needed.
