Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development is seeking a Grant Payments Officer to join the Paid Leave Division, a new program launched in 2026 that provides wage replacement to workers facing qualifying conditions.

As part of the Administrative and Financial Services division, you will process grant payments, manage federal cash drawdowns, and support the roll-out of the Small Employer Assistance Grants program, with telework eligibility and collaboration across multiple

Qualifications

• Two years of experience providing administrative support for financial records.
• Experience in reviewing and processing grant payment transactions.
• Experience in reviewing and processing invoices.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve and process grant payments so they are timely and compliant.
• Monitor cash in accounts to stay within federal and state regulations.
• Support development and implementation of the Small Employer Assistance Grants program.
