The North Dakota Department of Commerce is seeking an Account Budget Specialist II to support federal grant programs, monitor expenditures, ensure compliance, and assist with financial reporting and fund management.

The role requires knowledge of governmental accounting, budgeting, reporting, and grant administration, with PeopleSoft experience preferred; travel is primarily in-state and remote work is allowed from North Dakota.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field and one year of related experience.
• Associate's degree in business, accounting or related field and three years of related experience.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and financial management practices.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and grant administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial monitoring and audits for subrecipients; track findings and corrective actions.
• Assist with budget development and monthly monitoring of programs.
• Prepare grant reports and maintain grant/project tracking.
• Provide technical assistance on grant administration and compliance.
• Draw down federal funds and manage reporting for various accounts.
