Expeditors, a global logistics leader, is seeking a Government Services Compliance professional in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring Government contracts comply with FAR/DFAR requirements, coordinating audits, and guiding internal teams on government import/export procedures.

The candidate will train staff, work with legal and business owners, and participate in customer webinars and reports related to Government Services compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen and able to work at a US Expeditors branch.
• Understanding of applicable Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
• Experience with US Government policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Acts as the primary point of contact within the Government Services Team for transactional/shipment assistance related to Government compliance.
• Documents import and export processes and requirements for USG shipments in foreign countries.
• Provides guidance to operational teams around government importations.
• Plans and participates in training on contract practices and other aspects of Government Service compliance.
• Provides subject matter expertise on FARs, DFARs and other agency supplements as applicable to Expeditors contracts.
• Ensures FAR requirements are understood and built into processes, technology, systems, and training resources.
