Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Government Services Compliance professional to act as the primary contact for transactional support related to government compliance. The role involves documenting import/export requirements, guiding operations on government importations, and assisting with approvals and audits to ensure contract regulatory adherence.

You will train teams, maintain compliance plans, and collaborate with Legal and business owners to align processes with USG contracting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US Government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with government procurement processes and contract administration.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact within Government Services Team for transactional/shipment assistance related to Government compliance.
• Document import/export processes and requirements for USG shipments.
• Provide guidance on government importations and pre-approvals.
• Plan and participate in training on contract practices and compliance.
• Ensure FAR/DFAR compliance is integrated into processes, systems and training.
• Create and maintain project plans for regulatory compliance requirements.
• Train and guide employees on USG contracting regulations and requirements.
• Support development of operating standards and SOPs related to Government Services compliance.
