Expeditors is a global logistics company seeking a Government Services Specialist to manage government compliance for shipments and contracts. You will document import/export processes, advise on regulatory requirements, and train teams on contract practices.

The role requires US citizenship and involves ensuring FAR/DFAR compliance across processes, audits, and customer engagements. This position can be worked from any US Expeditors office.

Competenze

• Must be a United States Citizen and able to work at a US Expeditors branch.
• Demonstrates understanding of applicable Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
• Experience with US Government policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Mansioni

• Acts as the primary point of contact within the Government Services Team for transactional/shipment assistance related to Government compliance.
• Documents import and export processes and requirements for USG shipments in foreign countries.
• Provides guidance to operational teams around government importations (e.g., AGR, DCMA Duty-free entry, permits and pre-approvals).
• Plans and participates in training on contract practices and other aspects of Government Service compliance.
• Provides subject matter expertise in FARs, DFARs and other agency supplements and their applicability to Expeditors contracts.
• Ensures FAR requirements are understood and built into processes, systems, and training resources.
