Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to drive high-quality, compliant proposals for government opportunities. You will collaborate with Managers and Business Development to identify opportunities, develop RFI and Sources Sought materials, and manage the end-to-end proposal process.

The role emphasizes strong editing, design, and document formatting, with responsibility for maintaining templates and ensuring alignment with company standards. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing, preferred.
• Two-year Associates Degree or seven (7) or more years of work experience in a broad range of business and government-related environments, minimum.
• Prior Federal Government proposal experience, required.
• Advanced to Expert in Shipley or equivalent proposal processes and compliance.
• Experience reading and analyzing Government requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for quotation (RFQs), Sources Sought, and Requests for Information (RFI).
• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Responsibilities

• Create the layout, formatting, and design of proposals in compliance with government requirements.
• Draft proposal portions such as introduction, overview, project approach, and cover letter.
• Create / Manage the entire proposal management process, including capture, bid-no/bid, compliance matrices, drafts, color team reviews, meetings, and final production.
• Synthesize proposal materials in a client-ready package.
• Navigate procurement websites to identify opportunities and gather data for proposals.
• Perform daily queries on procurement websites and evaluate opportunities for potential bids.
• Interface with subs and primes to gather proposal document data.
