Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to develop timely, high-quality proposals for government opportunities. You will work with Managers and Business Development to identify and vet bids, draft responses to RFIs and RFQs, and manage the entire proposal process from capture through final production.

This role requires strong editing and formatting skills, familiarity with procurement portals, and the ability to coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing, preferred.
• Two-year Associates Degree or seven or more years of work experience in business/government environments.
• Prior Federal Government proposal experience required.
• Advanced to Expert in Shipley or equivalent proposal processes and compliance.
• Experience reading and analyzing RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFI.
• Must pass a background check; additional checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create layout, formatting, and design of proposals per government requirements.
• Draft proposal portions including introduction, overview, project approach, and cover letter.
• Manage the entire proposal process from capture to final production.
• Synthesize materials into a client-ready package.
• Navigate procurement websites to identify opportunities and evaluate bids.
• Coordinate with executives, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
