Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to develop timely, high-quality proposals for federal opportunities. You will work with Management and Business Development to vet opportunities on government portals, develop RFI, Sources Sought, and other marketing materials, and manage the full proposal lifecycle.

Responsibilities include creating layouts, drafting sections, coordinating reviews, and ensuring compliance with agency requirements.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing.
• Two-year Associate Degree or seven or more years of work experience in a broad range of business and government-related environments, minimum.
• Prior Federal Government proposal experience, required.
• Advanced to Expert in Shipley or equivalent proposal processes and compliance.
• Experience reading and analyzing Government RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFIs.
• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Responsibilities

• Create the layout, formatting, and design of proposals in compliance with government requirements.
• Draft proposal portions such as introduction, overview, project approach, and cover letter.
• Create / Manage the entire proposal management process, including capture, bid-no/bid, compliance matrices, drafts, color team reviews, meetings, and final production.
• Synthesize proposal materials into a client-ready package.
• Understand how to navigate procurement websites to identify opportunities and extract relevant data.
• Perform daily queries on procurement websites and evaluate potential bids.
• Manage past performance citations, resumes, and proposal reuse libraries.
• Interface with subs and primes to gather proposal data.
• Format documents into cohesive, marketing-ready output.
• Collaborate with executives, subcontractors, and government stakeholders; report progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
