Job summary

Cayuse Holdings seeks a Proposal Coordinator to develop timely, high-quality proposals for government opportunities. You will work with Managers and Business Development to identify sources, craft RFI/Sources Sought materials, and manage the full proposal lifecycle from drafting to final production.

The role requires federal proposal experience, Shipley proficiency or equivalent, and strong writing, editing, and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing, preferred.
• Two-year Associates Degree or seven (7) or more years of work experience in business/government environments.
• Federal Government proposal experience required.
• Advanced to Expert in Shipley or equivalent proposal processes and compliance.
• Experience reading RFPs/RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFIs.
• Must pass a background check; additional checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create the layout, formatting, and design of proposals per government requirements.
• Draft proposal portions: introduction, overview, project approach, cover letter.
• Manage the entire proposal process: capture, bid/no-bid, compliance matrices, reviews, production.
• Synthesize proposal materials into a client-ready package.
• Navigate procurement websites to identify opportunities and gather data.
• Provide preliminary opportunity evaluations based on daily queries.
• Maintain past performance citations and proposal reuse libraries.
