Job summary

Emmes Group is seeking a Project Control Analyst for US Government projects, working remotely with East Coast hours. The role focuses on building and maintaining EACs, ETCs, burn rate analyses, and detailed project financial reporting across CPxF and T&M portfolios.

The position begins as a full-time temporary assignment for 40 hours a week, with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs and performance. Strong Excel/Deltek skills and CRO/clinical experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in government contract financial management.
• 1-3 years experience with CPxF, FFP and T&M contracts.
• 1-3 years CRO/clinical/pharma setting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with budgets and cross‑department work.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for CPxF and T&M contracts.
• Forecasts variances, manages change orders, and provides financial analysis to Project Leads.
• Maintains revenue recognition, EACs, ETCs, burn rate analyses, and cost analyses.
• Produces monthly project financial reports and cost/variance analyses.
• Reviews project setup, budgets, AR, and open commitments; supports FP&A.
• Prepares internal/external reports for contract modifications and change control.
• Collaborates as a liaison between Corporate Finance, Accounting and business units.
