Job summary

Emmes Group is seeking a Project Leader to oversee government-sponsored clinical research programs from a remote US location. The role requires leading cross-functional teams across clinical operations, regulatory, data management, and IT to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and rigorous scientific standards.

You will develop study plans, manage budgets, communicate with clients, mentors staff, and mitigate risks while upholding Emmes Group's values of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's + 8 years project management experience in a research environment.
• Master's + 6 years project management experience in a research environment.
• PhD + 3 years project management experience in a research environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver government research projects on time and within budget.
• Define project plans, timelines, and resource needs with clients and internal teams.
• Monitor risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure deliverable quality.
• Mentor junior staff and support development of new Project Leaders.
• Represent Emmes in client meetings and internal governance reviews.
