Job summary

Serco is seeking a Financial Analyst – 100% REMOTE to support DOAR BU Program Finance with full lifecycle program finances. You will manage cost, schedule and funding planning, including WBS, BOEs, and time-phased budgets/EACs, while liaising with operations, contracts and PMO.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, familiarity with financial systems, and collaboration in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting/finance basics.
Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
Ability to work in a collaborative, high professional standards environment.

Responsibilities

Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting and analysis for Program Managers including WBS, BOEs, and time-phased budgets/EACs.
Support accounts receivable during billing, including invoice backup when required.
Monitor billing status and unbilled issues; coordinate with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve.
Oversee subcontractor/vendor accruals as goods/services are received per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
Support monthly program and finance rhythms; participate in meetings and program reviews.
Administer program control per GAAP and corporate/government policies.
Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition per contractual terms.
Liaise with operations, subcontractors, vendors and customers on financial issues.
