Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 100% remote role. You will support full life-cycle program finances, including cost/schedule/funding planning, reporting, and analysis for the DOAR BU Program Finance Team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related experience, strong MS Excel skills, and knowledge of government contracting regulations. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting/finance principles
• Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel
• Familiarity with CPFF/T&M/FFP contracts and GAAP/IFRS basics

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis for Program Managers
• Support accounts receivable during billing and provide invoice backup when required
• Monitor billing status and resolve unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO
• Oversee subcontractor/vendor accruals as services/goods are received per GAAP/IFRS
• Support monthly business rhythms and participate in program reviews
• Administer program control in line with accounting principles and policies
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition
• Act as liaison between operations and finance/administrative teams
