Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 100% remote role to support the DOAR BU Program Finance Team in managing full life-cycle program finances for government contracts.

You will provide cost, schedule and funding analysis, assist with billing, accruals, and GAAP/IFRS compliant reporting, while coordinating with Contracts, Accounting and PMO. Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting
• Familiarity with financial systems and data warehouses.
• CPFF/T&M/FFP contract knowledge.
• Costpoint preferred.
• Understanding of EAC.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers (WBS, BOEs, budgets/EACs).
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing with invoice backup.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues; collaborate with Contracts, Accounting and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor/vendor accruals to ensure cost/commitment accuracy.
• Assist monthly program/finance rhythms and participate in reviews.
• Administer formal program control per GAAP/IFRS and policies.
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors and customers on financial issues.
