Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a fully remote role within the United States, with occasional travel to customer site in Washington, DC. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver government contract projects, create and manage integrated plans, budgets, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 3-6 years of experience and the ability to obtain public trust clearance, supporting diverse IT initiatives for federal clients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required with 3–6 years of experience (or commensurate).
• Must be able to acquire and maintain public trust.

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
• Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
• Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
• Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
• Supervises professional and technical staff performing in their regular disciplines.
