Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Project Manager to support government contracts. The role is fully remote within the United States with limited travel to customer sites in Washington, DC.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, create integrated project plans, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and client satisfaction. The position requires a high school diploma with 3–6 years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain public trust.

Qualifications

• Must be able to acquire and maintain public trust.
• Experience in project management within government or regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
• Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
• Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.

Education

High School diploma (3-6 years commensurate experience)
