Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Project Manager to support government IT contracts. The role is fully remote within the United States with occasional travel to a customer site in Washington, DC. You will lead project plans, manage diverse teams, control budgets, and deliver milestones on time.

The ideal candidate has high school level education with 3–6 years of experience and must be able to acquire and maintain public trust. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and development projects.
• Manages a multidisciplinary project team and reviews status of projects and budgets.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and intervention with team members and line managers.
• Defines requirements and plans lifecycle deployment for projects.
• Schedules tasks and coordinates with team members to achieve results.
• Manages vendor tasks and reviews vendor deliverables to ensure quality.
