Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced Government Contract Program Manager to oversee strategic U.S. Government contracts and a portfolio of related programs. The role requires coordination across engineering, product, operations, supply chain, legal, and security to meet contract objectives while maintaining compliance with FAR/DFARS.

The ideal candidate has DoD/IC contract experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment. Remote candidates in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience leading U.S. Government contract programs (DoD, IC, or federal agencies).
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulatory environment and contract types.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary PM and single point of contact for strategic U.S. Government contracts.
• Coordinate parallel programs, align milestones, and ensure execution across teams.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, supply chain, legal, and security.
• Establish governance, decision forums, and transparent status reporting to leadership and customer.
• Support proposals, capture strategy, and identification of follow-on opportunities.
