Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Government Contract Program Manager to lead strategic U.S. Government contracts and related programs. You will coordinate customer interactions, align milestones, and drive governance across engineering, product, operations, and legal teams.

The role requires delivering on contract objectives, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS while working with security, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to meet ambitious milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong PM experience with U.S. Government contracts (DoD/IC or federal agencies).
• Experience in commercial technology/semiconductor programs.
• Ability to influence and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types (FFP, CPFF, OTA).
• Active U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary program manager for strategic U.S. Government contracts and coordinate customer interactions, requirements, and satisfaction.
• Coordinate a portfolio of programs in parallel, balancing priorities and ensuring execution across multiple efforts.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, supply chain, legal, security, and finance to secure resources and align priorities.
• Establish governance with cadence and decision forums for accountability in a matrixed environment.
• Coordinate government customer relationships, including regular reporting and contract negotiations/modifications.
• Develop IMS, risk registers, and status communications to leadership and the customer.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal security requirements; align government needs with the technology roadmap.
• Support business development, capture strategy, and identification of follow-on opportunities.
