Primordial Labs is building a fully remote finance function to scale with its growth in US government contracting and commercial markets. This Controller role leads close, technical accounting, audit, and DCAA/DCMA relationships, driving accurate, audit-ready financials.

You'll shape processes from the ground up, implement GovCon ERP, automate reconciliations, and partner with leadership to inform strategic decisions in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with leadership experience.
• Government contracting knowledge and DCAA expectations.
• Hands-on financial close and timekeeping experience.
• Audits of financial statements and gov't filings experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and automation use.
• Advanced Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar.
• Remote-working capability and clear communicator.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close end-to-end under U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and DCAA labor distributions.
• Deliver monthly reports to leadership, Board, and external parties.
• Document and automate close processes as the team scales.
• Oversee banking, billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, timekeeping, and fixed assets.
• Design internal controls, including segregation of duties and DCAA labor charging.
• Ensure gov't contract compliance and unallowable cost identification.
• Own QuickBooks and Rippling systems and drive GovCon ERP selection.
