Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and execute the security authorization process for our systems and applications in compliance with NIST guidelines and DoD regulations.

This role is primarily remote with a hybrid schedule and is based out of any Dark Wolf Office location. The candidate will navigate the RMF lifecycle, develop security documentation, conduct risk assessments, and ensure high standards of security and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • 5 years minimum of relevant experience.
  • Experience in security risk assessment and management in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
  • Experience building authorization packages.
  • US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the security authorization process for systems and applications per NIST RMF guidelines and DoD regulations.
  • Coordinate with COTR and Sponsor Staff to ensure technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and architectures supporting cyber defense activities, including analysis, incident handling and reporting.
  • Maximize use of existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into actionable events.
  • Identify and automate manual processes to return time to mission.
