Job summary

QAD, Inc. is seeking a Senior Global Trade Compliance Technical Business Consultant to lead the technical dimension of North America pre-sales.

You will translate complex compliance requirements into compelling demonstrations, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations that win opportunities. You will partner with the Global Trade Compliance Sales Executive, configuring demos across FTZ, CBP, IOR, HTS/HS classification, and AI-assisted processing to showcase real value to CFOs, COOs, and

Qualifications

6–8+ years in global trade compliance or related pre-sales/solutions consulting roles.
Experience with major GTC platforms (ONESOURCE, SAP GTS, Descartes, etc.) and ability to configure/demo them.
Deep knowledge of FTZ, CBP, IOR, HTS/HS classifications and trade controls.
North America territory coverage with industry verticals knowledge.
Ability to present to IT, compliance teams and C‑suite audiences.
Understanding of AI in classification, screening, and document processing.

Responsibilities

Own the technical dimension of the sales cycle from discovery through customized demos, RFP/RFI responses, and technical objection handling.
Configure, demonstrate, and tailor GTC solutions to prospect needs.
Deliver live software demonstrations and present ROI narratives to executives.
Collaborate closely with the Sales Executive to align on strategy and win opportunities.
