Job summary

Smartcat is seeking a Technical Account Manager to support a portfolio of global customers from a remote Costa Rica location. You will own complex escalations, guide API and connector integrations, and work with AI-assisted problem solving to ensure platform health and customer success.

You will collaborate with engineers, product, and success teams, delivering 24/7 coverage and driving best-practice use of Smartcat’s platform to maximize ROI across localization workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical account management or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ownership of issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical POC for assigned accounts; collaborate with sales and engineering.
• Handle escalations beyond AI capabilities with clear steps and resolution.
• Assist with onboarding and integrations (API, connectors, SSO/SAML).
• Provide 24/7 coverage as part of a globally distributed team.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Support renewal and expansion with technical proof points.
