Job summary

Smartcat is seeking a true leader to manage DevOps and Infrastructure teams, improving and maintaining the technical infrastructure for development, deployment, and operation across global environments. You will ensure availability, scalability, and reliability of staging and production environments, enforcing SRE and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities include rigorous CI/CD testing, resilient systems, and disaster recovery planning, plus accelerating lead time by enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience leading a team in a fast-growing multinational IT business.
• 5 years of experience in DevOps and SRE, maintaining high-RPS distributed products.
• Data-driven decision making with metrics to justify actions.
• Strong hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines, IaC, multiple deployment strategies.
• Practical cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP); proficiency with Net Core, MongoDB, Vue 2/3, AWS, Kafka, ES, GitLab CI, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Jaeger, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow DevOps and SRE teams ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Define and enforce best SRE/DevOps practices across environments (staging and production).
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, implement robust IaC, and optimize deployments.
