GiveDirectly is hiring a Senior Manager, People Operations to lead a small team and own end-to-end payroll, lifecycle, HR data, and total rewards for 20+ countries. You’ll set the operating model, ensure data quality, and drive process improvements across payroll, ticketing, and reporting.

The role is fully remote with overlaps required with East Africa and US Eastern hours. You’ll report to the Senior Manager, People Operations and guide a small team of Associates and Coordinators.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional experience in People Operations, HR operations, or global payroll, including managing a team.
• Direct experience running multi-country payroll and employer of record arrangements preferred.
• HRIS ownership and data quality improvement experience.
• Ability to design workflows and automate processes in HR operations.
• Strong English communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Experience in a global non-profit or mission-driven org with Africa presence preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a team across payroll, service delivery, data, and lifecycle operations.
• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for global staff and manage payroll calendar, controls, and reconciliations.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and role changes with a focus on experience and process quality.
• Own HRIS operations and data quality; drive systems roadmap and reporting infrastructure.
• Execute annual compensation cycles and mobility transactions; manage benefits administration.
