Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced Licensing professional to join the Global Licensing and Regulatory Programs team. You will help manage licensing obligations, filings, and reporting across U.S.

states and international markets, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Product, and business leaders. You’ll support renewal applications, collaborate on NMLS processes, and develop efficient licensing workflows, including exploring AI-enabled improvements, while reporting to the Director, Global

Qualifications

• 5 years of licensing/compliance/regulatory experience in consumer financial services.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, ownership mindset with integrity and humility.
• Comfort with cross-functional teamwork and evolving regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support new product and service launches related to licensing and reporting.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, finance, and tax to meet obligations.
• Maintain central repository for licensing obligations and guidance.
• Prepare and submit state licensing annual reports and MSB call reports.
• Ensure timely regulatory filings and flag licensing issues.
• Lead renewal applications and filings across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate on NMLS licensing and reporting activities.
• Develop processes and leverage AI to improve licensing efficiency.
• Assist in integrating licensing requirements into the licensing tool.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to fulfill ongoing licensing needs.
