Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Licensing and Regulatory Programs professional to join the Global Licensing team. You will support state licensing and reporting obligations, including MSB reports, and collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and tax to meet regulatory requirements.

You will maintain the licensing repository, prepare renewals across jurisdictions, coordinate with senior leadership on ongoing licensing needs, and contribute to AI-enabled improvements within the licensing management tool.

Qualifications

• 5 years licensing/compliance/regulatory experience ideally related to consumer financial services.
• Outstanding time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Proven project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Humility, integrity, and a desire to be part of a small but strong team.
• Inquisitive, eager to learn, and a willingness to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Support state licensing and reporting obligations including MSB reports.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, tax to meet regulatory licensing obligations.
• Maintain the licensing repository and licenses/workflows in the licensing tool.
• Prepare renewal applications and filings across multiple licensing jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to fulfill ongoing licensing requirements.
• Lead regulatory filings and reporting in collaboration with Licensing team.
• Analyze and develop processes, leveraging AI to increase efficiency.
• Assist in building licensing requirements into the licensing management tool.
