Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Licensing & Regulatory Programs professional to join the Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs team. This role focuses on state licensing and reporting to support growth and compliant operations across markets.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, and tax; maintain licensing records; prepare filings; and drive process improvements, including AI-enabled workflows, for efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years of licensing/compliance/regulatory experience in consumer financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support licensing and reporting across state and international markets.
• Collaborate with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, and tax to meet licensing obligations.
• Maintain central repository for licensing and reporting obligations and related workflows.
• Prepare and submit state licensing annual reports, MSB call reports, and other filings.
• Ensure timely regulatory filings and address licensing issues.
• Lead renewal applications and other forms across licensing jurisdictions.
• Coordinate on NMLS licensing, reporting, and other regulatory filings.
• Analyze and develop AI-enabled processes to improve licensing efficiency.
• Assist in integrating licensing requirements into the licensing management tool.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to fulfill ongoing state licensing requirements.
• Partner with team on licensing projects and initiatives.
