Job summary

Mohawk Global Logistics Corp is seeking an Import Transportation Coordinator to manage international air and ocean import shipments from origin through final delivery. You will serve as the primary operational contact for customers, overseas partners, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring shipment visibility and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, documenting and customs coordination, resolving delays, and maintaining records in CargoWise and related systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in international transportation, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience coordinating international air and/or ocean import shipments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational contact for customers and partners; provide proactive shipment updates and issue resolution.
• Maintain shipment visibility and communicate delays, exceptions, and milestones timely.
• Coordinate international air and ocean import shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Manage shipment documentation, customs coordination, dispatching, and delivery scheduling.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise and related systems.
• Investigate and resolve delays, discrepancies, and billing issues; implement corrective actions.
