Job summary

Mohawk Global is seeking an Associate Import Transportation Coordinator to support the efficient movement of international import shipments. You will learn Mohawk’s processes, partner network, and systems to deliver excellent service and accurate file management.

Under guidance from leadership, you will grow knowledge of transport documentation, tracking, and issue resolution while contributing to shipment visibility and customer satisfaction in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of international transportation, import logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to learn and utilize transportation management systems, including CargoWise.
• Shipment tracking, documentation management, and milestone monitoring.
• Data entry, record maintenance, and operational system accuracy.
• Basic understanding of import documentation, billing processes, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely shipment updates and responsive support for import shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas partners, and internal teams on shipment status and delivery requirements.
• Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service.
• Communicate delays or service issues proactively and escalate sensitive concerns.
• Develop knowledge of transportation processes and systems through hands-on support.
• Track and monitor shipments, milestones, and visibility.
• Manage shipping documentation and support cargo availability, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
• Communicate customs clearance and shipment requirements to stakeholders.
• Escalate operational issues when necessary.
• Assist in investigating shipment delays and documentation issues.
• Support resolution of transportation issues across air, ocean, rail, and domestic modes.
