Job summary

New Energy Nexus is seeking a Global Impact Director & Knowledge Management to lead the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) function across the network, refine the Theory of Change, and embed justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in impact work.

You will design and implement the global MEL framework, maintain data standards, and develop practical TOC tools, log frames, and indicators for country programs.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in impact measurement and management, or monitoring, evaluation and learning, with climate/clean energy focus.
• Experience developing and applying a Theory of Change, log frames, MEL plans, and outcome indicators, and turning them into practical tools.
• Experience managing impact databases and data quality processes (Airtable or comparable platform).
• Experience applying equity-focused MEL approaches and using evidence to address inequities.
• Ability to influence culture and foster ownership of MEL as a strategic competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of NEX's global MEL framework and translate TOC into measurable outcomes.
• Refine and update standardized global impact indicators and data standards for collection and reporting.
• Co-lead the annual Global Impact Report and collaborate with leadership across chapters.
• Provide guidance on TOC, log frames, and indicators to chapters, programs, and fundraising teams.
• Oversee knowledge management structure, data systems, and AI strategy for MEL and program design.
