Job summary

New Energy Nexus seeks a Global Impact Director & Knowledge Management to lead the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) function across the global network. They will own the MEL framework, refine the Theory of Change, and embed justice, equity, diversity and inclusion throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in impact measurement and management or MEL, with climate/energy focus preferred.
• Experience developing and applying a TOC, log frames, MEL plans, and outcome indicators.
• Experience managing impact databases, data quality, privacy, and reporting (Airtable or similar).
• Experience applying equity-focused MEL approaches and inclusive methods.
• Ability to influence culture and drive MEL as a strategic competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MEL framework across the organization, translating TOC into measurable outcomes and learning practices with JEDI principles.
• Refine global impact indicators and data standards for collection, reporting, and management.
• Design MEL policies, processes, and practices with cross-team collaboration.
• Develop and implement log frames and MEL plans for multi-country programs with clear indicators.
• Support country offices to align TOCs and MEL plans with the global framework.
