Job summary

Prosper Global is seeking an Impact Assurance Advisor to strengthen measurement, reporting, and verification for the Jobtech Alliance. The consultant will design tools, pilot surveys, and revise MEL documents to capture participants' livelihoods and outcomes, supporting donor engagement and learning.

Work is remote globally with preference for time zones overlapping Africa. You will collaborate with the Results Measurement, Inclusivity, and Venture Building teams to produce evidence-based

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL) for international development or donor-funded programs.
• Experience with major institutional funders and donor verification/audit processes.
• Strong qualitative interviewing skills with startup founders or platform teams.
• Ability to translate messy results into donor-ready reporting language.
• Experience drafting MEL indicators, frameworks, and reporting plans.
• Diplomatic but firm communicator capable of handling donor questions.

Responsibilities

• Verify outcomes reported against supporting evidence and sources.
• Interview startup founders to surface credible data narratives.
• Collaborate on MEL document development for donors (plans, ToC, Effectiveness framework).
• Produce donor-ready reporting language and update playbooks as needed.
