Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a global EHS leader to drive environmental, health and safety excellence across PSR sites worldwide. You will lead a multi-country organization, ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and a strong EHS culture across all manufacturing operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of ISO 14001/45001, incident investigations and the deployment of GE safety expectations. You will partner with plant operations and cross-functional teams, with travel ~30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, environmental science, safety management or related field.
• Graduate degree and professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) preferred.
• At least 5 years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing environments; multi-country experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS across PSR sites worldwide, reporting to Product Line Leader and EHS Business Leader.
• Hire, train, and lead a multi-country EHS organization.
• Assess regulatory changes and their impact on manufacturing operations globally.
• Drive deployment of GE EHS expectations and Safety LSRs at all sites.
• Partner with plant teams to drive compliance, performance and culture.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure appropriate EHS resources at each site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with LEAN & GREEN initiatives.
• Operationalize EHS KPIs and deploy EHS strategy; integrate into Hoshin Kanri.
• Conduct MORs and weekly EHS touchpoints; oversee incident investigations and CAPA.
• Maintain governance and audits (FW/Compliance/ISO) and training matrices in GE Workday Learning.
• Track environmental performance and decarbonization initiatives.
