Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Global Director, Manufacturing Excellence to translate the Eaton Production System into sustainable execution across its global manufacturing network. You will coach site leaders, build capability, and accelerate maturity, scaling best practices enterprise-wide.

This role may sit remotely within the United States and involves up to 50% travel domestically and internationally. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of global manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in global manufacturing.
• Senior plant/operations experience with deployment of a manufacturing operating system across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprise SME for Eaton Production System (EPS) architecture, procedures, validation gates, change control, and global deployment.
• Facilitate governance decisions, align EPS with other enterprise initiatives, and provide guidance across stakeholders.
• Develop enterprise frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and training materials to accelerate deployment.
• Provide hands-on coaching to site leadership during implementation and identify gaps to accelerate target operating models.
• Assess site maturity and readiness, and tailor deployment plans to business needs and challenges.
• Leverage data to identify trends, share best practices, and drive manufacturing excellence.
