Job summary

Trustpoint.One is seeking a seasoned Compliance Counsel to lead and enhance the global ethics, compliance, and privacy program across the organization. You will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive governance, privacy operations, and risk management on a multinational scale.

Responsibilities include overseeing risk assessments, data protection agreements, and GDPR/U.S. privacy compliance, while delivering training and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership.
• 10+ years of legal, compliance, and privacy experience.
• Experience managing both compliance and privacy programs in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks and privacy regulations, including GDPR and U.S. privacy laws.
• Multinational in-house experience preferred.
• IAPP and/or compliance certifications preferred.
• Experience with OneTrust assessments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the global ethics and compliance program.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and support governance reporting.
• Advise on anti-corruption, trade compliance, sanctions, and related regulatory matters.
• Manage privacy impact assessments, incident response, and privacy compliance initiatives.
• Review and negotiate data protection agreements and privacy-related contractual provisions.
• Counsel stakeholders on GDPR, U.S. privacy laws, and evolving global privacy regulations.
• Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, HR, and business leaders to mitigate privacy risks.
• Develop and deliver compliance and privacy training programs.
• Monitor compliance metrics, investigations, remediation efforts, and continuous improvement activities.
