Job summary

Consilio LLC seeks a Global Privacy Program Director with 7+ years of privacy experience to coordinate day-to-day operations across the United States, EMEA, and other markets under the Deputy General Counsel, Global Privacy, Cybersecurity and AI Governance Officer.

The role translates privacy strategy into practical controls, policies, workflows, and notices, and partners with Legal, Information Security, IT, Product, Operations, Sales, and HR to embed privacy-by-design and manage regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of privacy, data protection, compliance, technology law, and/or privacy operations experience.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, EMEA privacy requirements, and US state privacy laws.
• IAPP certification strongly preferred (CIPP/E and/or CIPP/US); CIPM, CIPT, or other privacy credentials are a plus.
• J.D. or equivalent advanced privacy/tech credential preferred.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and training skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong business judgment and ability to elevate material risk issues to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Consilio’s global privacy program.
• Implement governance processes, escalation pathways, and accountability mechanisms.
• Operate with independence to prioritize work and elevate material risk to the Chief Privacy Officer.
• Provide practical guidance on GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws.
• Track privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and data governance developments and prepare roadmaps and notices.
• Apply emerging AI laws and governance requirements to privacy activities and DPIA/PIA enhancements.
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, IT, Product, Operations, Sales, HR, and client teams to embed privacy-by-design.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to address GDPR and cross-border transfer requirements.
• Maintain processing records, data maps, DPIAs/PIAs, notices, consent, and data retention programs.
• Support regulatory inquiries, investigations, audits, and draft responses for leadership review.
