Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks an experienced accounting supervisor to lead a team in preparing, reviewing, and adjusting monthly financial statements for condominium and HOA portfolios. The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and regulatory compliance in a fully remote setting.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with leadership and operations, and support audits and special projects while leveraging strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• CPA certification a plus; CAM license preferred.
• Five years of general ledger accounting experience; supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily functions of the assigned team and ensure quality of financial statements.
• Ensure timely delivery of monthly financial statements and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide direction and coaching; conduct annual/semi-annual evaluations and performance feedback.
• Assist CPA audits and year-end review processes as needed.
• Produce ad-hoc reports to answer accounting and financial questions.
