Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead financial operations for a large, complex property portfolio. You will oversee monthly close, partner with global teams, and drive process improvements while mentoring staff.

The role blends technical accounting with leadership, requiring GAAP expertise, ERP experience, and a proactive approach to strengthening controls and cash flow accuracy. A CPA track is preferred and a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• CPA (or on track) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting for a portfolio of 20+ properties, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and offshore/outsourced accounting partners.
• Lead the monthly close process, delivering high-quality financials on tight deadlines.
• Review financial statements, audit schedules, and tax reporting to maintain compliance and integrity.
• Partner with Property Managers to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow accuracy.
• Oversee AP processes, invoice validation, and reserve/reimbursement activities.
• Participate in quarterly financial reviews, offering insights and driving performance improvements.
• Support budgeting, audits, and annual reporting requirements.
• Mentor team members and assist in onboarding and training.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
