Job summary

Teamshares, a national for-profit company, is seeking a GL Accountant to support My Financial Partner and its network of client companies. You will record financial transactions, manage accounts payable/receivable, and process payroll while ensuring accuracy across multiple ledgers.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Critical thinker capable of initiating process improvements and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as a condition of remote based work.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions for multiple client companies.
• Post customer payments and maintain AR aging.
• Record vendor invoices and code expenses to proper ledgers.
• Reconcile bank records to the general ledger.
• Process online payroll and record transactions.
• File sales and property tax as needed.
• Perform other accounting tasks for clients.
• Diligently record time spent on engagements for budgeting and billing.
