Turn2Partners in Rockville, MD is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role focuses on month-end close, multi-entity accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of corporate GL experience or 2+ years in public accounting transitioning to industry, and is comfortable working onsite five days per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years public accounting or 4+ years corporate GL accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement experience.
• Office-based, onsite work five days per week in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and intercompany items.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Review GL activity and identify variances or misclassifications.
• Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with financial statement prep and supporting schedules.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborate with project accounting and operations teams.
• Assist with job-cost and WIP accounting and reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules for external auditors and tax professionals.
• Maintain COA consistency and improve processes and controls.
• Guide junior accounting staff and ensure GAAP compliance.
