Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Telugu OPI interpreters to support USCIS interviews and hearings. This remote position requires real-time telephonic interpretation with accuracy and neutrality.

You will handle scheduled and urgent assignments, maintain confidentiality, and participate in training and quality assurance. Native proficiency in Telugu and English and US citizenship or eligible for Tier 3/5 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Telugu and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, government preferred).
• Knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
• Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Telugu-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Deliver interpretation with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge assignments.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
