Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide virtual practice focused on mental healthcare for older adults. We offer independent licensed therapists flexible, fee-for-service work from home with options for 1099 or W2 staffing, and a supportive clinical leadership team.

Clinicians deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults, design treatment plans, and work with a collaborative care team. Telehealth tools and an AI documentation assistant streamline notes and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
• Licensed in Maine
• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings
