Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide virtual practice delivering Medicare-covered therapy to older adults. Therapists work from home on a flexible, fee-for-service basis, with 7 days a week availability and options for 1099 or W2 arrangements.

We provide schedule matching, admin support, and clinical leadership to ensure a strong caseload while you focus on care. Clinicians set their hours, access AI documentation tools, and receive free CEUs plus geriatric-focused training.

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.
• Licensed in Alabama.
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred.
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations
