Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. seeks an Engineered Solutions Specialist for its Geo Stormwater team. This remote role requires regular travel within Texas and Louisiana, with the ability to work from home when not traveling.

You will present engineered stormwater products to civil engineers, municipalities, and landscape architects, helping integrate Ferguson solutions into sitework designs while supporting national growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or Engineering license.
• 3+ years’ experience with innovative products in Geosynthetics and Stormwater.
• Prior technical writing experience, including proposals, emails, and submittals.
• Competent and engaging public speaker.
• Strong computer proficiency including use of Microsoft applications and navigating multiple software systems.
• Basic reporting experience using Excel, including sorting, filtering, and data compilation.
• Prior use of Salesforce CRM is a bonus but not required.
• Demonstrated relationship building, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance multiple, urgent requests while staying organized.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance Ferguson’s market position to influence civil sitework stakeholders.
• Increase awareness of Geo/Stormwater products through events and meetings.
• Prepare and present technical presentations across the geography.
• Research local green infrastructure codes to build targeted municipal strategies.
• Visit end users, engineering firms, and contractors to expand product awareness.
• Coordinate projects through the specification process with engineers/designers.
• Support national growth initiatives of Geosynthetics and Stormwater team.
• Assist contractors and municipalities with installation and maintenance practices.
• Provide timely feedback on activities and track the project pipeline.
