Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Civil Sales Engineer (Engineered Solutions Specialist) for our Geo Stormwater team. This remote role requires regular travel within Texas and Louisiana, and the incumbent should reside in the greater Houston area to perform duties effectively.

You will generate opportunities for Ferguson’s engineered stormwater products and solutions, presenting to civil engineers, municipalities, and landscape architects to expand design integrations.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or Engineering license preferred.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; data analysis capability a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage efforts to position Ferguson’s engineered stormwater products in civil sitework projects.
• Increase industry awareness through tradeshows and presentations.
• Prepare and present technical materials in the assigned geography.
• Research local green infrastructure codes to tailor sales strategies.
• Visit end users, engineering firms and contractors to grow product awareness.
• Coordinate projects through the specification process with engineers/designers.
• Support national growth initiatives of Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management.
• Assist contractors and municipalities with installation and maintenance practices.
