Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Civil Sales Engineer (Engineered Solutions Specialist) for our Geo Stormwater team. This role focuses on promoting Ferguson’s engineered stormwater, erosion, and geosynthetic products to civil sitework projects within Texas and Louisiana, engaging specifiers, engineers, municipalities, and landscape architects to drive adoption of Ferguson’s solutions.

Although remote, regular travel within Texas and Louisiana is required; the incumbent must reside in the greater Houston

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or license preferred.
• 3+ years in geosynthetics/stormwater products.
• Experience with proposals, emails and submittals.
• Public speaking ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and multiple software systems.
• Excel reporting (sorting, filtering) skills.
• Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; clear technical explanations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance Ferguson’s market position for civil sitework solutions.
• Increase awareness of Geo/Stormwater products at tradeshows and meetings.
• Prepare and present technical presentations across geography.
• Research local green infrastructure codes for municipalities and developers.
• Visit end users, engineering firms, and contractors to expand product awareness.
• Coordinate projects through the specification process with design engineers.
• Support national growth initiatives of Geosynthetics and Stormwater team.
• Assist contractors and municipalities with installation and maintenance practices.
• Provide timely feedback on activities and track project pipelines.
